Strategy Two :: Search engine marketing With Google Adwords, you can now advertise on the leading search engine and leading sites and come up only for the keywords you choose. This eliminates missing potential customers and really targets quality traffic that can be directed to your website. There are many different strategies that can be used and not all of them work in the same way for each business. These strategies refer to landing pages, special advertising copy to attract customers and strategic cost per click management. However, because each business is different you should test what works for you. It only takes minutes to setup an Adwords account and then you can get traffic to your site immediately. Strategy Three :: Search engine optimisation Search engine optimisation is probably the most popular word on anyone's lips that want to get their website REALLY working in the search engines. However, if you don't have the time to spend hours and hours a week on your website improving it for search engines, whilst maintaining the usability of your site, it can become quite expensive to outsource it. Search engines are striving to display the most accurate information that a person searches for, otherwise people would give up using search engines. So if you can maintain a clear focus on your website and continually improve the dynamics of your site, you could have a well performing website in the search engines before too long. However, search engine optimisation is a long and timely process which can take months to see any genuine results.
